 Dahi k kebab recipe | Dahi kebab | Cheese cutlets

Dahi k kabab or Dahi k kababs are delicious snacks for everyone. This Mughlai dish has a very unique taste & Very easy to make with simple ingredients at home. These vegetarian kebabs are delightedly eaten in Northern India. I will share this recipe with you all so you can make this at home easily.

hung curd rest time - 3 hours
Preparation time - 25 minutes
Serving persons - 6-7





Ingredients:

Curd - 2kg
mozzarella cheese - small cubes 
Panner - 100gm
Amul cheese - 60gm
Green chillis - 2 nos
Onions - 1 medium size(finely chopped)
Ginger - 1inch(finely chopped)
Besan -1tbsp
Garam masala powder - 1tsp
Cardamom powder - 1/2tsp
Cumin powder - 1tbsp
Black salt - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Fresh mint - 1tbsp (finely chopped)
sugar - 1tsp
Fresh coriander - 1tbsp (finely chopped)
Oil - for frying
Bread crumb - for coating 2 cup



Preparation Method :




  • Get one big muslin cloth put the curd and tie it properly then hung it for 3 hrs for removing the water from the curd properly, hung it until all waters from the curd remove. (overnight hung for better result).


  • After 3 hrs later take out the hung curd in a big mixing bowl, grate the panner and cheese put these all into the bowl.


  • Then add chop green chillis, besan, chopped onions, chopped ginger, cumin powder, black salt, cardamom powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, chopped fresh mint & fresh coriander leaves, sugar & salt.


  • After adding all these ingredients mix this mixture properly then rest it for 15 minutes.


  • Now make balls from the mixture and put a small mozzarella cube inside each for one ball then flattened by the thumb to give cutlet shape.


  • Now coat the cutlets with bread crumbs and arrange all the cutlets on the plate before frying.


  • Fry the cutlets in hot oil until golden brown.


  • Serve with onion slice & mint chutney or tomato chutney.
